A brief update on what we are currently working with:
- smaller size – the newer versions of our system are sub-matchbox size.
- better sensors – a major challenge and an issue we will get back to: most Citizen Science projects in the field of Air Quality face limits of sensitivity. While there are plenty of different sensors available and in use, most lack an order of magnitude or more in sensitivity. We thus have focussed on testing a variety of low- to mid-cost sensors. Please standby for results.
- network – in addition to the well-proven and stable Bluetooth-GSM/3G version, we are planning a LoRa connected version of our system.
